Babylune
I recently came across Babylune blog, which is aimed at mothers who have recently had a child. It is written by Kate Baggott, a Canadian who is based in Germany with her family.
Here is what she has to say about the blog:
… at babylune.com, the health and well-being of mothers will come first. In the blog we’ll explore issues of self-care and recovery in the post-partum period for the mother’s body, mind and sense of selfhood.
Article categories include breastfeeding, labour and birth, women’s health, weight loss, exercise, baby care, and emotional well being, amongst others. There is a good mix of both serious and funny articles and, above all, they are honest and open.
I found her article - The Parental Sex Omnibus, and the linked articles from it, to be a particularly interesting read.
The blog has been going since January 2006, is well laid out, and articles are easy to find.
